Our performance will be offered in person at the J. Everett Collins Center for the Performing arts in Andover and as a virtual live-streamed performance.
We welcome you to share an evening of dance and support the next generation of artists at NYB’s 2021 Fall Series! Our public performance showcasing the pre-professional students of The Conservatory at Northeast School of Ballet. The versatile young dancers, ages 12-20, will perform contemporary, neo-classical and classical repertoire.
The Nutcracker

Keeping the holiday tradition present for our community, the pre-professional students of The Conservatory at NSB and students who audition from Northeast School of Ballet will dance The Nutcracker to celebrate the magic of the season.
The Nutcracker is the enchanting journey (Germany in 1835) of a young girl named Clara who dreams of an adventure through a winter wonderland to a palace of sugary sweets with her nutcracker prince.
The annual production of The Nutcracker generally features the talents of more than 150 young dancers from the Greater Boston area.

NSB’s 2023 Annual Year-End Lecture Demonstration is structured to educate our students and audience on the training of a dancer from pre-ballet to pre-professional levels. Students show the importance of learning technique and terminology while combining musicality and artistry as they demonstrate basic ballet combinations at the barre that help them to execute their choreography given by the NSB faculty center stage.
